For years, I've been the person who shows up, digs into the details, and speaks up when things don't make sense. Whether I was fighting for better transportation, supporting small businesses and our youth, or advocating for property owners and my HOA, I always found myself trying to make sure the people affected by decisions actually had a voice. But I reached a breaking point. I realized that advocating from the outside can only take us so far. If we want things done better, we have to step up and do the work. I've always believed in being part of the solution, not part of the problem, and running for City Council is putting that belief into action. I don't want a title. I am running because local government should listen before it decides, and remember that our residents are the very reason the process exists. It's time to bring that advocacy directly to the table.
Residents deserve to understand how decisions are made and have a real say before major choices are finalized. I will push to expand meaningful public input, ensure council discussions are open and well-documented, and make it easier for everyday residents to participate in the process.
Maricopa's growth demands real transportation solutions. I will keep fighting for SR-347 widening, safer intersections, improved regional connections, and long-term planning that keeps pace with where our city is headed.
A growing city needs a fully staffed and well-resourced public safety team. I will prioritize police, fire, and emergency response funding, and focus on employee retention so Maricopa has the people it needs to keep residents safe.
Growth should improve our quality of life, not create problems residents are left to fix. I will make sure development carries its fair share of infrastructure costs and that taxpayer dollars are spent carefully and with clear purpose.
